50th National Congress of the SIUD
This 3-day meeting was held in Bari, Italy on June 18, 19 and 20, 2026. Professor
Alesssandro Giammo was the president and Professor Stefania Musco was a key
organiser. The meeting was dedicated to functional urology and urodynamics and
the organisers included several neurourology topics in the programme. The
meeting was of high quality and covered different topics in functional urology and
urodynamics. Several functional urology and neurourology topics were covered.
Jalesh N Panicker represented INUS at the meeting and delivered a State of the Art
lecture: When the Bladder speaks Neurology in disguise on day 1 of the meeting. A
session dedicated to pelvic pain was held on day 2 of the meeting where Dr Panicker
participated through a lecture on Afferent signalling and algogenic
pathways in neuropathic pain.
The meeting was well attended by urologists from Italy and received excellent
feedback.
