INUS Course on Neuro-urology Update 2024 in Kochi (India)

This 2-day meeting was held in Kochi, India on April 6 and 7, 2024 and was organised by Professor Jalesh Panicker in collaboration with local organisers Dr Udit Saraf and Dr Kannan Nair.
A wide range of topics in Neurorology were covered included neural control of the LUT, Approach to neurogenic bladder and sexual dysfunction, Pelvic floor management, Catheterisation, Medical management, Neuromodulation (tibial nerve stimulation and sacral nerve stimulation), surgical treatments for neurogenic bladder, paediatric neurourology, adult and paediatric neurogenic gastrointestinal dysfunction. An interactive urodynamics workshop and case discussion session were held. Jalesh N Panicker and Pawan Vasudeva represented attended the meeting as representatives of INUS and presented on Tibial Nerve stimulation for neurogenic LUTD and Approach to the neurological patient reporting sexual difficulties and case discussion (Jalesh Panicker) and Approach to the Neurological patient reporting LUTS (Pawan Vasudeva); they both participated in the urodynamics workshop.
This is the first time in India that an INUS Neurourology course is being held and around 50 delegates from South India attended that included urologists, neurologists, physiatrists. The course received excellent feedback
